The SPAM Art Collective is an artist-run initiative established by graduates of Aberdeen’s Gray’s School of Art in 2016. Initially founded as a measure to aid one and the other through creation of opportunities such as pop-up shows and exhibitions, SPAM has so far produced 3 exhibitions (2 in Aberdeen and 1 in Edinburgh) to great success.
After a brief hiatus, SPAM looks beyond with an intent to ‘provide an alternative to the alternative’ through unique projects throughout Scotland and regular updates and takes on the shrinking world that we live in. Fostering connections with artists throughout and from within we aim to bring forward our presence on the various disciplines we explore.
